THE PHOTOGRAPHER
AND HIS WORKS
Ignat Ivanov,
the Bulgarian by origin director of Mission Possible, has met
on the streets of Eastern European cities hundreds of children
and adults who live there homeless and hopeless. Mission Possible's
street patrols reach out to these poeple.
His camera has recorded countless moments of the life in the
streets and slums - in places where only very few outsiders
can go.
These are pictures of a world where children and youth have
no way out, unless someone goes there and helps them. Every
picture taken, in addition to being a document of the reality
on the streets, is also an evidence of the fact that someone
has gone to these children and offered a way out. This is why
each photo also contains an element of hope.
