Prayer for Street Children's Ministry

It is important for a street children's help ministry to receive intercession support in the following matters. Please pray with us for:

Strategic, God-given vision - so that we would know and would clearly see what is God's will and plan - where to work and in what way.

The right workers - so that we would have with us people chosen, called and authorized by God to carry out the work; people who love children and have a genuine burden for them; who have a willingness to sacrifice and do hard work; who have the needed skills, ability to work together and a desire to grow and go forward.

Resources - so that we would be able to send these people to carry out God's plans and would have what to give to the needy.

Guidance - so that we would find the way to the right children and youth at the right time and could bring them the help they need.

Wisdom - so that we would be able to use the opportunities, to approach the people in the right way, to make the right decisions, to foresee future development, to build children's future.

The right methods - so that we would be able to act as effectively as possible and to be flexible and constructive.

The right attitudes - so that we would have a clear vision of our role as servants, persistance in striving for the goals, zeal for saving children's lives and souls, ability to maintain a balance between work and quit time, patience, ability to see the things from God's point of view; pure motives without any self-centered interests.

Protection - so that we could avoid difficulties, dangers, accidents, failures and mistakes that are obstacles to a fully effective service.

That the fruit would remain - so that not a single child, teenager or adult who has received help would slide back from where they have come from and lose their faith but would grow in the knowing of the Lord.

The conditions and atmosphere in the target area; its authorities and leaders - so that we would be able to work freely and carry out our plans; that nobody would hinder us and put obstacles on our way; that the authorities be able to make good decisions that impove children's and families' life.
