Drug Rehabilitation Is Bringing Fruit!

I just visited our Yaroslavl rehabilitation center and was really happy for what I saw and for the good atmosphere and order on the farm.

Twenty rehabilitants
Drug rehabilitation begins to look like what we had envisioned. There are over twenty rehabilitants at the moment. They have good overseers (see Ivan's and Oleg's picture on the right) and significant progress can be seen in their lives. The rehabilitation program takes one year, but those willing can stay lonter. During the program they participate in the farm work.

A challenging summer ahead
This spring we planted 12 hectares (30 acres) of potatoes and hope to get a good harvest as in the previous years. Our special challenge this year is the transition of the farm leadership to local people. Yuri Volkov, a professional farmer, manages the farm with his wife. Up till now we had a foreign specialist stay and work on the farm.

Through the entire the summer the farm will be full of life. The children of the Moscow shelter home will come there for their holiday, and we also expect the Krasno-yarsk home children who come from thousands of miles. We’ll also arrange camps for street children. At times there will be over 70 people staying on the farm.

Please pray that the Lord touch and bless the youth on rehabilitation and fully deliver them from their bondage. Pray for protection for all children and wisdom and strength for the leaders!
